Milky Newness

Oh newborns.  Call me weird (and I know you want to) but I love the smell of newborns and…(here’s the weird part) I even think that their poo smells sweet.  True!

And you can always tell newborn second children.  They’re the ones sleeping soundly while their older sibling screams the house down because their water is in the wrong coloured cup.  And they’re the ones smiling sweetly while the first child gives a raucous concert, complete with mega-loud drumming solo.

Kristy and Nick are some lucky parents – they have two absolutely adorable children.  I went to uni with Kristy when we were both studying to be vets (yes, I used to be a vet!  Strange work history I’ll admit).  She has James, the sweetest little boy around and now Ellie the adorable little babe.  Turns out not long after these photos were taken, Ellie had to be airlifted to hospital due to a growth in her throat.  I can’t imagine anything more terrifying for her parents to go through, so I hope these photos will provide some happiness during the stressful times.

If you book a newborn shoot within the next month you’ll receive 20% off print prices.  What a way to rid yourself of that burdensome baby bonus!  Because they are that little for almost no time at all.  Before you know it they’re pulling out your mobile phone and calling for pizza.

Oh I could look through my photos all day! Thank you Cass, I love them. Ellie (or e-gar, as her big brother calls her) is doing well, still on medication, but hopefully will get the all clear once she is 12mths old.

Lovely images Cass, they need to stay this tiny longer don’t they?
I adore the natural shots, and the pure sweetness you capture.

Well I knew you were a vet from a cow talk we had online ages ago. These are so fabulous. Love the natural feel to them and love that cot shot!
